Solution:

(1) C.P = ₹

100/{100-L}×S.P

= ₹

(100/ {100- 16}×1008)

= ₹

(100/84×1008)

= ₹ 1200
Profit = S.P – C.P
= ₹ 1500 – 1200 = ₹ 300
Profit % =

({\Profit}/{C.P}×100)

(300/1200 × 100)

% = 25%
