= $\frac{1}{2}$ × base × height
By Pythagoras theorem:

⇒ ${\left(25\right)}^2={\mathit{P}}^2+{\left(7\right)}^2$
⇒ ${\mathit{P}}^2$ = 625 - 49 = 576
⇒ p = 24 cm
Therefore, height = 24 cm
∴ Thus, area of the triangle
= $\frac{1}{2}$ ×7 × 24 = 84 $\mathit{c}{\mathit{m}}^2$
