The quadratic equation is:

Calculation:
Let the roots of the equation be A and B.
A = $2+\sqrt{5}\mathit{a}\mathit{n}\mathit{d}\mathit{B}=2-\sqrt{5}$
⇒ A + B = $2+\sqrt{5}+2-\sqrt{5}=4$
⇒ A × B = $\left(2+\sqrt{5}\right)\left(2-\sqrt{5}\right)=4-5=-1$
Then equation is
∴ ${\mathit{x}}^2-4\mathit{x}-1=0$
