(4) Mutualism is the way two organisms of different species exist in a relationship in which each individual benefits from the activity of the other. Commensalism is where one organism benefits from the other without affecting it. This is in contrast with mutualism, in which both organisms benefit from each other. Amensalism is where one is harmed while the other is unaffected.
