(1) Let the present age of Radha be x years.
Age of Radha 10 years ago = (x -10) years Age of Sitamma 10 years ago = 3(x 10)
Age of Radha 10 years hence = (x +10) years
Age of Sitamma 10 years hence =3(x - 10) + 20 = (3x - 10) years
According to the question,
3x – 10 = 2(x + 10)
⇒ x = 30
Present age of Sitamma = 3(30 –10) + 10 = 70 years
Required ratio = 7:3
