If its total surface area is 6200 sq.cm., then find the dimension of the cuboid?

Solution:

Let the dimension of the cuboid is

2 x, 3 x

and

According to the question,
total surface area

=2(l b+b h+h l)=6200

2(5 x ×3 x+3 x ×2 x+2 x ×5 x)=6200

62 x^{2}=6200

x^{2}=100 ⇒x=10

So, dimension of the cuboid are 20 cm × 30 cm × 50 cm
