. After 3 sec the magnitude of its displacement is (take

Solution:

Velocity

(u)=20 \ { m} \/ {s},

Time

=3 \ {sec}

As the ball is thrown in upward direction
So, the value of 'g' will be negative
So, the magnitude of displacement (d)

=u t-1 / 2 g t^{2}=20 \×3-1 / 2

\×10 \×(3)^{2}

=60-45=15 \ { m}
