What is the total weight of 10 cartons of Mangoes? Each of them weigh equal.

I. One third of each boxes weight is

more than the total weight of 4 boxes.

Validate

Solution:

Statement I:

\;{1}/{3} x=12

⇒ \;\; x=36

Thus, total weight of 10 boxes

=36 × 10

=360 {kg}

Statement II:

6 x=72+4 x

2 x=72

⇒ \;\; x=36

Thus, total weight of 10 boxes

=36 × 10

=360 {kg}

Hence, either statement I or II is sufficient.
