Solution:

Total expected expenditure

=850 × \;{100}/{10}

So, expense on segment 2

=\;{20}/{100} × 850 × \;{100}/{10}=₹ 1700

Expense on segment 5

=\;{15}/{100} × 850 × \;{100}/{10}=₹ 1275

∴

Total expense

=1700+1275=₹ 2975
