Solution:

{ x } /{ 4 } + { x }/ { 5 } + { x } /{ 3 } = x - 13

⇒

{ 15 x + 12 x + 20 x }/ { 60 }

= x - 13
⇒ 47x = 60x – 780
⇒ 60x – 47x = 780
⇒ 13x = 780
∴ x =

780/13

= 60 years
