Solution:

Let the sum be ₹ x
Then

{ x × 4 × 4 } /{ 100 }

{ x × 3 × 5 } /{ 100 }

= 80
⇒

{ 4 x } /{ 25 } - { 3 x } /{ 20 } = 80

⇒

{ 16 x - 15 x } /{ 100 } = 80

⇒ x = ₹ 8000
