Solution:

(b) A : B = 2 : 3 = 8 : 12
B : C = 4 : 5 = 12 : 15
A : B : C = 8 : 12 : 15
Sum of ratio = 35⇒ A’s share =

8/35×700

= ₹ 160
B's share =

12/35×700

= ₹ 240
C's share =

15/35×700

= ₹ 300
