(5) Demand Liabilities of a bankare liabilities which are payable ondemand. These include currentdeposits, demand liabilities portion of savings bank deposits, marginsheld against letters of credit/guarantees,balances in overdue fixeddeposits, cash certificates andcumulative/recurring deposits,outstanding Telegraphic Transfers(TTs), Mail Transfers (MTs), DemandDrafts (DDs), unclaimeddeposits, credit balances in theCash Credit account and depositsheld as security for advanceswhich are payable on demand.
