1) Ranjit Sinha, an IndianPolice Service officer of the1974 batch, is the current Directorof the Central Bureauof Investigation. He was theDirector General of Police ofthe Indo-Tibetan Border Police(ITBP) and the Director Generalof the Railway ProtectionForce before joining as theCBI Director in December2012 for a two-year tenure.
