(1) The government, on 1 June2015, launched Atal PensionYojana (APY) focused on allcitizens in the unorganisedsector who join the NationalPension System (NPS) andwho are not members of anystatutory social securityscheme. The subscribers willreceive the fixed pension ofRs. 1,000, 2,000, 3,000, 4,000or 5,000 at the age of 60 years,depending on their contributions.
