(5) SEBI has made it mandatoryfor any entity/person engagedin marketing and sellingof mutual fund productsto pass the Association ofMutual Funds in India (AMFI)certification test (AdvisorsModule) and obtain a registrationnumber f rom AMFI .Firms and corporates willhave to obtain certificate ofregistration from AMFI andall employees of corporate distributorsengaged in sellingand marketing or mutual fundproducts have to pass theAMFI certification test (AdvisorsModule) and obtain registrationwith AMFI beforecanvassing the business ofmutual funds.
