(4) According to the revisedbranch authorization policyannounced by the RBI in May2017, a banking outlet for ascheduled commercial, a paymentsbank or a small financebank is a fixed point servicedelivery unit, manned by eitherthe bank’s staff or its businesscorrespondent, where servicesof acceptance of deposits, encashmentof cheques, cashwithdrawal or lending of moneyare provided for a minimumof 4 hours per day for at leastfive days a week.
