(2) As notified by the Governmentof India on 16 December2010, maximum balance in aBSBDA-Small Account shouldnot exceed fifty thousand rupeesat any time. Total creditsin such accounts should notexceed one lakh rupees in ayear. The total of debits by wayof cash withdrawals and transferswill not exceed ten thousandrupees in a month. Thereis no requirement for any initialdeposit for opening a BSBDA.
