This corridorenvisages usage of biotoiletsfor zero human wastedischarge. Developed by theIndian Railways and DefenceResearch and DevelopmentOrganisation (DRDO), bio-toiletscollect human waste intanks and decomposes thewaste using bacteria, thusensuring zero discharge ontracks.
