Minority Affairs Minister Shale Mohammed Launched 'Marugandha Project' at Pokaran in Jaisalmer district on 10 December 2019 for the purpose of livelihood enhancement in the field of Eco Tourism.
The activities of this project will be initiated in 14 villages of 5 gram panchayats of Pokaran region due to the widespread possibilities of eco-tourism and weaving and harvesting works in the surrounding areas of Pokaran.
The project will be launched in collaboration with HDFC Bank and Urmul Trust, Bikaner.
