A tank is of the shape of a cuboid whose length is 7.2 m and breadth is 2.5m. Water flows into it through a pipe whose cross-section is 5 cm × 3 cm at the rate of 10 m/s. Find the height to which water level will rise in the tank in 40 minutes.

Here, length of water column in 40 min = 10 × 40 × 60 m
Since, 7.2 × 2.5 × h =

5/{100} × 3/{100} × 10 × 40 × 60

⇒ h =

{36×100}/{72×25}
