Let sides of cuboid are x, 2x and 3x cm respectively; then
2 (x × 2x + 2x × 3x + 3x × x) = 88
⇒ $22{\mathit{x}}^2$ = 88
⇒ ${\mathit{x}}^2$ = 4
⇒ x = 2
Since its, sides are 2cm, 4 cm and 6 cm respectively;
Hence, volume = 2 × 4 × 6 = 48 $\mathit{c}{\mathit{m}}^3$
