The angles of a triangle are in A.P. and the radian measure of the smallest to the degree measure of the mean is π : 200. The greatest angle in radians is:

Solution:

Let the angles in degrees in A.P. be taken as
A = θ – ϕ, B = θ, C = θ + ϕ
∴ A + B + C = 180°= 3θ ⇒ B = θ = 60°
Now

π/200={A \in \radian}/{B\in \degree}

={(60-ϕ)(π\/180)}/60⇒ϕ=6°

∴ Greatest angle C = θ + ϕ = 66°
= 66 × (π/180) = (11/30) π radians.
