Let A’s salary be Rs x.
Then, B’s salary = Rs $\frac{1}{3}\times \mathit{x}=\frac{\mathit{x}}{3}$
C’s salary = Rs $\frac{4}{3}\times \frac{\mathit{x}}{3}=\frac{4}{15}\mathit{x}$
$\therefore \mathit{x}+\frac{\mathit{x}}{3}+\frac{4}{5}\mathit{x}=880$
$\mathit{x}=550$
∴  A’s salary = Rs 550 of B’s salary $=\frac{\mathit{x}}{3}=\frac{550}{3}$ = Rs 183.35 or Rs 184 approx
Hence, product of A’s and B’s salary = Rs (500 × 184) = Rs 1,01,200
