Let ‘a’ be the first term and ‘d’ be the common difference. Then
${\mathit{t}}_4=16\Rightarrow \mathit{a}+3\mathit{d}=16$ ……(i)
${\mathit{t}}_6=24\Rightarrow \mathit{a}+5\mathit{d}=24$ ……(ii)
Subtracting (i) from (ii) we get
2d = 8
⇒ d = 4
Putting d = 4 in equation (i) we get
a + 3 (4) = 16
⇒ a = 4
Now ${\mathit{t}}_{11}=\mathit{a}+10\mathit{d}=4+10\left(4\right)=44$ $\Rightarrow {\mathit{t}}_{11}=44$
