Find the first six terms of the AP series. Given by

t_1 = 4

Solution:

We have

t_1 = 4

,

t_2 = t_1 + 5 = 4 + 5 = 9

and

t_n = t_{n-1} + 5

for

n > 2

putting

n = 3, 4, 5, 6,

we get

t_3=t_2+5=14

t_4=t_3+5=19

t_5=t_4+5=24

t_6=t_5+5=29

Hence the first six terms of the given AP series are 4, 9, 14, 19, 24 and 29.
