A shopkeeper mixes three varieties of groundnuts consisting Rs. 50, Rs. 20 and Rs. 30 per kg in the ratio 2 : 4 : 3 in terms of weight and sells the mixture at Rs. 33 per kg. Find his profit per cent.

Solution:

C.P. of mixture of 1 kg

={2×50+4×20+3×30}/9

=270/9=30

Profit %

= {33 -30}/ 30 × 100 = 10%
