Solution:

CP of 1 dozen eggs = Rs 30
CP of 1 egg =

30/12

= 2.5
CP of 100 eggs = 2.5 × 100 = Rs 250
Gain per cent = 12%
SP = CP + 12% of CP

=250+{12×250}/100=280

SP = Rs 280
