Solution:

Let the two fraction be x and y; then

xy=14/15

...(i)

x/y=35/24

...(ii)
Now from equations (i) and (ii)

xy×x/y=14/15×35/24

⇒x^2=49/36

∴x=7/6

Hence, greater fraction

=7/6
