Total money divided among the boys $=\left(150-\mathit{x}\right)25$
Total money = Rs 49 or 4,900 paisa
According to the statement.
$50\mathit{x}+\left(150-\mathit{x}\right)25=4900$
$50\mathit{x}-25\mathit{x}=4900-3750$
$25\mathit{x}=1150$
$\mathit{x}=\frac{1150}{25}=46$
Number of boys $=150-\mathit{x}=150-46=104$.
