Let n be a whole number.
When it is divided by 4, gives the remainder 3,

n/4=x+R

n=4x+3

When

{2n}/4=R=r

{2(4x+3)}/4={8x+6}/4

={8x}/4+6/4

{8x}/4

is properly divided
When 6 is divided by 4, then the remainder is 2.
