. Find the probability that he will not get any medal.

Solution:

Probability of not getting gold

= 1-1/20=19/20

Probability of not getting silver

= 1-3/10=7/10

Probability of not getting bronze

= 1-4/7=3/7

So, required probability

= 19/20×7/10×3/7=57/200
