Let A, B, C be the three rifle man. Given that P(A) = 0.4, P(B) = 0.5 and P(C) = 0.8.
P (exactly two success)

= P(AB \ov C) + P(AB \ov C) + P(\ov A BC)

= 0.4 × 0.5 × 0.2 + 0.4 × 0.5 × 0.8 + 0.6 × 0.5 × 0.8 =0.44
