Difference of price in Rs. 7.80

= 30/100 × 7.80

= Rs. 2.34
Present rate of one egg =

2.34/3

= Rs. 0.78
Hence, present rate of one dozen eggs = 12 × Rs. 0.78 = Rs. 9.36
