Solution:

Q = x% of P

Q={xP}/100

Now 50% of (P - Q) = 30% of (P + Q)

50/100×(P-{xP}/100)=30/100×(P+{xP}/100)

(P/2-{xP}/200)= ({3P}/10+{3xP}/1000)

{2P}/10=({8P}/1000)x

x=25
