Solution:

Let taxable items of worth be Rs. x; then

6/100×x=30/100

⇒x=30/6=\Rs. 5

Hence, amount spent on taxable items = 5 + 0.30 = Rs. 5.30
Since, worth of tax free items = 25 – 5.30 = Rs. 19.70
