Tanya, Ritu and Vanita enter into a partnership in the ratio of

1/5:1/6:1/9

After 3 months, Tanya withdraws two-third of her capital and after 9 months a profit of Rs 680 is divided among them. What is Vanita’s share?

Solution:

Ratio of partnerships =

1/5:1/6:1/9

= 18 : 15 : 10
So,

(18x×3+6x×9):(15x×12):(10x×12)

108x : 180x : 120x

9 : 15 : 10

∴ Vanita’s share =

10/34× 680

= Rs 200
