Solution:

Total sum = Rs 7,000
Ratio of A : B = 2 : 3
Ratio of B : C = 4 : 5

A/B:B/C⇒2/3:4/5

⇒{2×4}/{3×4}:{4×3}/{5×3}

=8/12:12/15

A : B : C = 8 : 12 : 15
Now

8 x+12x+ 15x= 7,000

x = 200

Share of B

= 12x= 12 ×200

= Rs 2,400
