Solution:

Ratio of their capitals =

1/2:1/3:1/4

= 6 : 4 : 3
Ratio of their capital on which profit will be divided
= [6 × 2 + 3 × 10] : (4 × 12) : (3 × 12) = 7 : 8 : 6
Hence, B's profit =

8/21 × 378

= Rs. 144
