Length of the rectangle = x m.
Breadth = x + 7 m.
Perimeter of the rectangle = 2(l + b)
⇒ 2(x + x + 7) = 138

= 4x +14 = 138

= 31
Length = x = 31 m
Breadth = x + 7 = 31 + 7 = 38 m.
Area of the rectangle = l × b
= 31 × 38
