Solution:

Area of trapezium =

Two times of trapezium’s heights and parallel sides:

(2a + 2b) × 2h
= 2(a + b) × h ......(ii)
Compare (i) and (ii),
We get (ii) equation which is four times of equation (ii)
Area would be increased 4 times.
