Solution:

Volume of a cuboid = l × b × h
= 8 × 8 × 4
= 256

Volume of a hemisphere =

2/3 πr^3

2/3 × {22}/7 × (4)^3

= 134

cm^3

Required volume = 256 - 134
= 122

cm^3
