In ΔACD,

1000/x=√3⇒x=1000/√3

In ΔBCD,

{1000-h}/x=1/√3

⇒x=√3(2000-h)

......(2)
From equations (1) and (2),

1000/√3=√3(1000-h)

3h=3000-1000

h=2000/3=666.67m
