Number of oranges = 36 ÷ 1.50 = 24 oranges
Similarly, he bought 20, 18, 16 oranges from third, fourth and fifth markets respectively.
Average price of oranges $=\frac{\mathrm{Total}\mathrm{cost}\mathrm{of}\mathrm{oranges}}{\mathrm{Number}\mathrm{of}\mathrm{oranges}}$
$=\frac{180}{36+24+20+18+16}=\frac{180}{114}$ = 1.58
