Solution:

Average weight of 40 students = 36.2 kg
Total weight = 36.2 × 40 = 1,448 kg
Sum of weight of three students = 42.3 + 39.7 + 39.5 = 121.5 kg
Sum of weight of 43 students = 1,448 + 121.5 = 1,569.5 kg
Average weight of 43 students

=1569.5/43

= 36.5 kg
