Solution:

Let breadth and perimeter of a rectangle be x m and 5x m respectively.
Then, length =

{5x}/2 - x

{3x}/2

Since,

{3x}/2

× x = 216
⇒

x^2

{216 × 2}/3

⇒

x^2

= 144
∴ x = 12 m
Hence, length =

3/2 × 12

= 18 m
