Find the perimeter of a rhombus whose diagonals measure 16 cm and 12 cm.

Solution:

Side of rhombus =

√{({16}/2)^2+({12}/2)^2}

√{8^2+6^2}

√{100}

= 10 cm.
∴ Perimeter of the rhombus = 4 × side = 4 × 10 = 40 cm.
