Let length and breadth be 5x and 3x m respectively; then,
2 (5x + 3x) = 480
⇒ 8x = 240
∴ x = 30
Since, length = 5 × 30 = 150 m breadth = 3 × 30 = 90 m
Hence, area = 150 × 90 = 13500 m2 = 135 acres.
