what is the value of (p + q + r)?

Solution:

p/{(f-g)(f+g-2e)}

=q/{(g-e)(g+e-2f)}

=r/{(e-f)(e+f-2g)}

∴p + q + r = h = [(f - g) (f + g - 2e) + (g - e)(g + e - 2f + (e - f) (e + f - 2g)]

= h[f ^2 - g^2 - 2ef + 2eg + g^2 - e^2 - 2fg + 2fe +e^2- f^2 - 2ge + 2fg]

= h × 0 = 0
