Solution:

(d) Area of field

= 3584 m^2

Let the length and breadth be 7.x and 2x
Then

7x×2x= 3584 m^2

14x^2 = 3584 m^2

x^2 = 256

x= 16 m
Length = 7x= 112 in. Breadth =

2x = 16 × 2 = 32

m
Perimeter =

2(1 + b) = 2(112 + 32) = 288
